Rebel Relocation Services is a small family startup. Kevin has worked in public service as a post primary teacher in Cork for over 36 years, and has lived in Cork for all of this time. Maeve’s background is in finance. We’re living in the community, we have a deep local expertise and we have a passion for helping people.

Our vision is to build a family business which will support individuals & families who are moving to Cork city or county. We offer a professional, personable, responsive, organised, service-driven & affordable service, and we are happy to help guide you through every step of your move from preparing to relocate, right through to settling in to your new life in Cork. Some clients may only require support with one aspect of their relocation to Cork, and we are happy to help in this scenario also.

We can help you with any or all of the following:

  1. Providing guidance & local knowledge about Cork and it’s surrounding areas with respect to neighbourhoods, transport options, and local culture.
  2. Conduct tailored housing research based on agreed criteria prior to arrival
  3. Lead tours of any of Cork’s localities, arrange/accompany you on house viewings, help identify suitable rental accommodation (be aware-rental accommodation is very difficult to source in Cork at the moment), provide insights in to housing options, transport options in each area, etc.
  4. Offer school support as needed, assist with school viewings and the admission process.
  5. Assist with essential services such as converting your driver’s licence (EU & certain recognised countries only), opening a bank account, register for Government services e.g. securing a PPS or social security number, registering for taxation purposes, applying for children’s allowance, etc
  6. Advise with regard to social, cultural & lifestyle activities including leisure activities & clubs, restaurants, shopping facilities & family friendly venues.
  7. Serve as the primary point of contact throughout your location journey liaising between you and other partners on your relocation journey.
  8. Meet you in person or online to facilitate ongoing communication & support with your relocation

If you wish to discuss engaging us to help with your relocation to Cork, we are happy to meet with you initially, either in-person or online, to discuss how we can help you.  If you choose to retain us, no payment will be required until we have reverted to you as agreed at the initial meeting. Fees are discussed at this initial meeting, and typically are based on a modest, hourly rate.
